In short
- voi.do collects nothing about who is playing. There is no account, no ads and no tracking.
- Progress and settings are saved on the device only.
- Error reports are off. If a grown-up switches them on, anonymous information about crashes and how well the game runs goes to Sentry in the EU.
- The browser version and this website use no cookies and no analytics.
Who is responsible?
Bon.do ApS makes voi.do and is the data controller for the little information that can come from the game and from this website.

What the game saves on the device
voi.do remembers your settings – such as language, difficulty, controls, sound, graphics and the choice about error reports – and your progress: stars, best times, finished missions and the world you picked last. It is kept in the app’s own folder on the phone, tablet or computer, and in the browser in the site’s own storage (localStorage, under names starting with voido.).
This information never leaves the device, and we can’t see it. The storage is only used so the game remembers how far you got. Delete the app – or clear the site’s data in your browser – and it is gone.
Error reports – only if a grown-up switches them on
The game can send error reports so we can find and fix bugs and make the game faster. This is off when the game is installed and only happens if a grown-up switches on Settings › Graphics and more › Send error reports. Switch it off again and nothing more is sent – not even for the rest of the time the game is open.
When it is on, the game sends:
- Crashes and errors: what went wrong and where in the game’s code, with the last steps in the game – such as which screen and world were open, pausing and restarting, the screen size and the graphics level.
- How well the game runs: frames per second and time per frame in each round, how long the game takes to start, whether the graphics were turned down, and whether the game closed without crashing.
- About the device and the game: operating system, graphics card and graphics technology (such as Vulkan or Metal), the game’s version and the chosen world and mission.
- Warnings from the game’s log, for example if the graphics could not start.
On Android, reports can also cover freezes and crashes outside the game’s own code.
Reports do not contain names, email, accounts, device IDs, advertising IDs, location, contacts, pictures, the computer’s name or file paths from the device – the home folder becomes ~. They can’t be linked to a person and are never used for advertising or tracking.
Reports go to Sentry – Functional Software, Inc. (Sentry) – which processes them on our behalf under a data processing agreement and stores them in Sentry’s EU region in Frankfurt, Germany. Like all traffic on the internet, the device’s IP address reaches Sentry’s server, but Sentry is set up not to store it. Sentry is a US company that may access data from the US in special cases, such as support; it is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. Sentry deletes error reports automatically after at most 90 days and measurements of how well the game runs after 30 days. See also Sentry’s page on privacy.
The legal basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) of the General Data Protection Regulation), which you give by switching the setting on and withdraw by switching it off.
The browser version never sends error reports.
The browser version and this website
This website and the browser version of the game are plain files delivered by GitHub Pages – GitHub, Inc.. There are no cookies, no analytics and no tracking pixels, and fonts and pictures come from the same place as the site, not from Google or anyone else.
Like most web servers, GitHub Pages records visitors’ IP addresses for security purposes – even when they are not signed in to GitHub. This happens under GitHub’s privacy statement, and we have no access to that information.
Links to bon.do, the App Store and Google Play lead to sites with their own privacy rules.
The App Store and Google Play
If you download voi.do from the App Store or Google Play, Apple and Google process information about you under their own rules. They only show us totals – such as how many have downloaded the game – and anonymous crash reports, if you have allowed that in your phone’s settings.
Children
voi.do is made for children. We never ask for a name, age, email or anything else, and the game has no ads, purchases, chat or links out of the game. The only thing that can leave the device is the anonymous error reports, which a grown-up has to switch on.
Your rights
You have the right to access the information we hold about you and to have it corrected or deleted. You can also object, have the processing restricted, receive your information and withdraw a consent. Because error reports are anonymous, we usually can’t find yours in particular – but write to info@bon.do and we will help.
You can complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet), Carl Jacobsens Vej 35, 2500 Valby, Denmark, datatilsynet.dk.
Changes
If the game changes in a way that affects your privacy, we update this page first. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
